Another week!
Another hunt!
My, how time flies!
This weeks prompts were:
summer
dance
laughter
helper
water
Some of these were very challenging! I needed to have my grandchildren around to help me with them, especially dance, laughter, and helper! Mr. H could have been my helper and danced around until I was filled with laughter, but that's was not happening; model for me he does not do! Therefore, I had to once again stretch my imagination and I did go to my archives for the helper image.
summer
To me summer begins when the hydrangeas bloom.
dance
Have you every watched a peacock dance?
This fine looking fellow was trying to impress a female
by dancing with his feathers fanned out.
He also did a lot of tail shaking.
laughter
I thought I heard some laughter in the woods!
helper
A big brother is a best friend, a buddy, and a great helper.
water
Water in my favorite form...droplets.
I hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day.
This is my dad. He's in his 80's and suffers from Alzheimer's. We are so blessed that even though he may not remember where he went yesterday or what he ate, he still remembers us. My dad is happy. He doesn't smile as much as he used to, but he is content. Happy Father's Day, Dad!
Your hydrangeas blooms are beautiful, Cathy. I always enjoy the beauty of peacock feathers.
ReplyDeletePrayers to your family as you deal with a Alzheimers. What a blessing that your Dad remembers you and is happy. Everyday is a gift.

That peacock - oh my goodness! And those leaves? wow!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't wait to see your post with that peacock jumping out of the linky. The thought of Mr H helping you with those prompts, made me laugh-not at him, but the way you describe how he wouldn't. Love that spring/summer collage with it's cool blue colors.
ReplyDeleteWonderful finds!
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangea collage is lovely as is the peacock. Laughter made me smile and the light in your water shot is lovely! I smiled at helper - too cute and sweet.
A very Happy Father's Day to your Dad!
Great choices for the prompts. I really like the peacock and smiling stump.
ReplyDeleteGreat set, Cathy. Your "Laughter" made me laugh, and I needed that this morning.
ReplyDeleteGreat selections! Love the laughter too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful set this week! The flowers are lovely, as is the peacock. Your laughter picture is perfect, and water is also wonderful. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. The flowers and the peacock and your grandsons playing - and to end up, your dad sitting on that wooden bench surrounded by nature and finding contentment in his life. Lovely water droplets on a leaf.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your flower shots, as well as your photo of your dad. What a blessing you have!
ReplyDeleteWonderful selection of photos, Cathy! I adore your hydrangea montage! How did you ever manage to get the peacock to display his feathers -- they always seem to run away from me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special tribute to dad and we had a wonderful day and yesterday. Love your pictures. My favorite was your the first shot you posted. What color. Loved them all.
ReplyDeleteI think you did super with the challenge, all seem spot on. Love those blue hydrangea.
ReplyDeletePrecious picture of your dad :) Your peacock reminds me of the wild turkeys we have by our house, same kind of plumage show for the females, just not as colorful.
ReplyDeleteCathy - what a fabulous collage celebrating your hydrangeas! So many shades of bluish-purples - glorious!
ReplyDeleteStunning Hydrangea's.
