It's Scavenger Hunt Sunday with Ashley Sisk.
This was a fun week!
The prompts were:
facial features, shadow, spicy, gold, and fabric
Facial Features
I bought these little vehicles for my grandsons to
play with just because I love their little faces!
They just look so happy!!!
Shadow
There's something about this photo that just draws me.
I like the combination of the shadows
and the letters A-R-T carved into the tree.
I think they're some one's initials that
just happens to spell "art."
Spicy
a little bit of oregano
Gold
Of course, the first gold thing I thought of was our wedding rings.
You can see the nicks and scratches on them.
They will be 40 years old this year!!
Fabric
vintage silk fan
vintage silk fan
There's a possibility of snow here on Monday!!
I would love to see a little!!
If it happens I'll post some pictures.
Have a wonderful week!
Cathy, you've created a wonderful set here. From the happy trucks to the beautiful fan, they are interesting and lovely. But I think my favorite is your rings - the composition, the light and reflections are beautiful. And very meaningful, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat work - I love how you captured spicy.
ReplyDeleteThose little trucks are so cute! Great idea for the prompt. Actually, I like all of these, but my favorite is that old fan...you captured it so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThat fan is beautiful....and a very unique subject for the prompt. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe trucks are adorable! Love your spicy shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat spicy shot! Love Gold, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the tablespoon bokeh! Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat set! Love your facial features pic.
ReplyDeleteThose are tough prompts, I love your collection. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteGreat serie, love the toy cars and the wedding rings are so special.
ReplyDeleteCathy - you out-did yourself with your beautiful bokeh! Love the spoonful of oregano - a very creative and imaginative shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat set. Love the spoon of oregano and your rings. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe smiley faces do make you smile. Carving letters on a tree. That is special. Not done much any more. I don't think I have ever taken a picture of letters that have been carved in a tree. It did snow here today and I took pictures. Not a deep snow but a lot of water droplets hanging on for dear life. Keep the pictures coming.
ReplyDeleteAs always you have some wonderful photos for SHS (sadly I missed out this week). Those smiling trucks though as just way to adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the smiley trucks! I have seen them so many times, but I don't know that I have ever really looked at their faces! Love the ART in the tree!
