Photo Heart Connection ~ June

Some moments can’t be planned, they just happen. Call it what you want, serendipity or happenstance, but it happens to us all of us at the most unexpected place and time. I dropped by the library to see an exhibit and while I was there I walked around the garden on their grounds. There are beautiful flowers, a lovely pond with fountains, and a gazebo. As I walked into the gazebo I spotted a heart-shaped rock in the concrete floor. I bent down on one knee and took several pictures. As customary when I stood up I kind of moaned!! It’s hard for my old knees to get me off the ground! To my surprise, as I moaned, the sound resonated! It was soft and musical! How strange, a moan turns into musical sound. I stood there and hummed a little. The acoustics in this little gazebo were amazing. I began to hum the first tune that popped into my mind “Amazing Grace.” The sound, full and rich, reverberated off the ceiling and seemed to surround me. I don’t know how to describe how I felt. I was touched deep inside. The beauty that just my simple humming created brought tears to my eyes. When I look at this picture I will remember the moment clearly, the moment my heart sang as I hummed.

I thought I should show you the little rock that led to this beautiful experience.
