A Guessing Game For Gramma's Guys

Thank you for stopping by today!  I love it when you come for a visit!!

As most of you know, every once in a while I stick in a post for my grandsons.  If you like four wheelers or macro shots read on, if not, come back and see me next time!

Hey guys!
Gramma has been outside this afternoon with her camera.  I've been getting really close to things and taking pictures.  I got real bored with taking pictures of acorns, leaves and mushrooms. Then, I happened to see Gramp's four wheeler and decided I'd practice my close up shots on it. So, look at the pictures below and see if you can guess what part of the four wheeler they are. I made some of them easy and some of them hard. Some are just a little tricky!!  I've written the answers at the bottom of this page, but be sure and don't peek!

  1. Great shots and I got several. It was the headlight I think I liked the best. No one would have ever guess that it was a a four wheeler if you had told us. Love the macro.

  2. What fun! I like your vehicle macro quiz....I couldn't identify many parts, but it's fascinating to see them up close.

  3. What a great post! I like how you created something fun for your grandkids while challenging yourself to shoot different macro subjects. It is amazing to see how different common things look when you see them isolated and up close like this.

  8. Cathy, first of all it took my breath away when I opened your site and saw that beautiful acorn that I had seen in your flickr stream. So so lovely! I think it is just adorable that you post for your grandchildren (and those macro shots are awesome!)

  10. Aaron said “Honda 4-wheeler” while he was looking at the very first picture. These are Aaron’s exact answers. I recorded it while we were going through the quiz and then replayed it while I typed out his answers.
    1. This one’s kinda tricky, the engine
    2. Hmmm, ooh, I think this one’s the exhaust pipe
    3. Mmmm, it looks like a trail to me, hmmm, I guess I think that’s part of the engine, too
    4. Hmmm, mmmm, another part of the engine
    5. Ooooh, a button, an up button
    6. A Kubota or somethin’, OH!, it’s the steering wheel of the 4-wheeler
    7. Mmmm, this one’s a little bit tricky, looks like a glass window
    8. Mmmm, think it’s a little bridge or somethin’ on the 4-wheeler
    9. Mmmm, the wheel of the 4-wheeler, I don’t know
    10. WHOA! Mmmm, this one’s a little bit tricky, mmmm I don’t know, HEY! I think it’s that same thing that fits in our vacuum cleaner
    11. Um a gumball that looks smooth but I don’t know what it is
    12. Cheeeeeese
    13. Um, I’m not good at this, this one’s kinda tricky, I think it’s a little tunnel that the exhaust runs through to the exhaust pipe
