Scavenger Hunt

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday is something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
This week it finally came together and I captured a photo for each prompt.

The prompts are:
sunset, black and white, a day in my life, four (as in a set of four images), and colorful.

I love the texture of sweet gumballs.

a day in my life
I spent the week with three of my grandsons.  This is what I saw from the kitchen as I cooked dinner.

While walking through the woods during a very foggy morning, I found these four spider webs covered in droplets.

Have a wonderful day!!

  3. Hello!
    Great set of photos!
Love the photo of the grandkids! Their faces are lit by the glow of their electronic devices, as our generation's faces were lit by the TV screen (B & W in my day) when we were kids.
Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog. Glad your grandson liked my train photo. As far as I know, he is my youngest 'reader.'
    Have a great day!

  4. Sorry for what the Internet converted my apostrophe to. It happens sometimes, don't know why. Most of the time it is OK. I may have to start re-phrasing it - The Menagerie of Lea - just not the same, is it? :)

  5. Great shots you made, love them all. Special the spider webs, but also the grandsons photo is lovely if you can say that from a boy's picture.

  7. They were all such great shots. I love that you call them sweet gum balls, when i was in school it was fun to see what all the different regions of the world called those seed pods.

  8. Great set, Cathy! I love both your black and whites, but the one of your three grandsons is especially appealing to me. Their intent faces in that glowing light are just beautiful.

  9. After reading everyone's comments I can't really add much but to say the shots where great. Isn't it funny or strange how we now like the Blank and White over the color now. It is just great we have them both. I loved the sweet gum ball shot also. I just like closeups, or Macro as ya'll call it.
