September was a rough month for our family. My heart wasn't really into photography, so finding a photo for Photo-Heart Connection with Kat Eye Studio wasn't easy. I didn't have much to choose from, but I keep returning to this image because it's how I felt.
broken
ripped apart
frayed around the edges
If someone decided to repair this chair it would be a slow and time consuming process. So it is with me. Healing is happening, but it is slow and it will take time. Thankfully, God has been faithful and friends have been prayerful.
Perfect Photo Heart connection!
ReplyDeleteI understand this photo-heart connection which you have right now. The chair speaks for you.
ReplyDeleteThis represents your month so well.
ReplyDeleteThe chair looks like my heart feels, broken. Your pictures speaks volumes and so does your words.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your tough month - I knew what your words were going to say before I read them. The photo speaks volumes. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for healing.
ReplyDeleteHow could you not feel that way? It is evidence of how much you loved. Continued prayers.

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you and your family. May you heal. A shot that needs no words to portray your emotional state.
ReplyDeleteThis image has such great emotion. As someone else mentioned, it speaks even in its silence. I don't think I've taken the time to express my sympathy to you. A loss such as this is a large burden to carry. Your heart must have a hole the size of Texas running right thru it. I hope you find as you continue to photograph, a way of releasing some of the sorrow-I find making photos helps me that way-and my losses are tiny compared to yours, but....a loss is always a loss.
ReplyDeleteSending big hugs.
