Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ February 3, 2013

It's hard to believe another week has come and gone! The first month of 2013 has come and gone! The groundhog did not see his shadow. Has winter come and gone! Honestly, I hope not. I would like a few more cold, yet sunny days!  I need some good sunny days to get out and enjoy photography without the gloves and hat!

I did manage to get out and fulfill the prompts for Scavenger Hunt Sunday with Ashley Sisk.  All but the last one were taken this week.  The prompts this week were challenging to me. I had to think about them for awhile!

Our prompts were:
hidden
plain
left
fast
peace

hidden
Hidden inside the green covering is a Jonquil that is about to make it's appearance!
In the tallest blade you can see just a touch of yellow.

plain
Even a plain pine cone can be beautiful in the right light.

left
The tree near the left edge of this picture only has gumballs left on it's branches.

fast
The bird was almost too fast for me to capture.

peace
A place of peace and quiet far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Enjoy your week!

When you are looking to find photographs...
open up your mind and be still with yourself.
The photographs will find you.
