I found some time this week.
I walked through my favorite woods,
To the creek...to think, reflect.
water flowing over rocks and sand
now frozen solid by the cold
sunlight dances on the icy surface
while bubbles freeze creating shapes below
the sun peeks out bringing warmth
allowing the water to flow again
This Friday I'm linking with Adrienne at My Memory Art.
I've been wanting to try this for a while and decided this would be the week.

I just love water shots and I hsave so enjoyed scrolling through yours! That first one is especially lovely because of the movements in the water creating patterns! Have a beautiful weekend, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteI love the sunlight dancing on the water; always makes for beautiful pictures. I hope you have a wonderful weekend....
ReplyDeleteI love water, whether an ocean or a puddle, so these images are very appealing to me. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteWhat an intrepid soul you are! But your walk was well worth the effort, beautiful photos and beautiful poetry to go with them.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are gorgeous. They make me want to take my shoes off and put my toes in the water . . . I realize it is icy cold and I would freeze my toes off, but the photos make it look very enticing :) I hope that you have a wonderful weekend and if you have the time come over and put your name in the hat for my three year blogging birthday give-a-way.
ReplyDeleteYour blogging sister, Connie :)
