Find an object and create five different still life images with it. That was the exercise for this week's Be Still 52 class. I had a list of objects that included a feather, spool of thread, ink well, books, lilacs, and a heart necklace, but I was stumped when it came to creating the five different set-ups. One set-up a week is hard for me. I finally settled on a skeleton key and went very simple.
The Key To My Heart
Vintage Keys
The Key To Learning
Key Collector
Music Is The Key
So, there you have it;
one key, five ways!
Excellent! You are doing so well in this class, Cathy. I'm so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Cathy! You've been so inventive in this lesson and have used words so cleverly too! I love your lacy props and all those gorgeous vintage keys!
ReplyDeleteI love the books and the key one.

ReplyDeletePerfect use of the key(s) - I have some, too - they unlock nostalgic memories.

ReplyDeleteCathy, I love this! Five completely different ideas all from one small prop. Great titles for each one, too. Great job!! I'm still pondering mine, which means I've fallen behind again.

ReplyDeleteThese were very well done. My favorite was The Key to Learning followed by Music is the Key.
ReplyDeleteWell, you certainly cannot tell from the results that you struggled at all with this assignment. Again, your creativity comes shining through - each set-up is unique yet similar in feel and style. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteEach is wonderful and so hard for me to pick a favorite. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI haven't done this one yet, may or may not do it. Time gets away from me. Love what you have done with the keys, I only have one that unlocks an old trunk and I treasure it. I took it out for some reason a month ago and then I couldn't find it, it seemed to take me forever before I found it again. Ugh the aging process sometimes gets to me. :) Love each of the set ups so nicely done Cathy as always, and simple is very good in my book.
