I love this photo and quotation. This is a perfect example of what photography does for me. Who thinks to look at the amazing detail of a flower after the petals are gone? The quotation is so, so true.
So encouraging to see you keep up with your 30 Days of Gratitude. Love that line - alive to the newness of it. I am seeking that feeling as the holidays approach - to see everything as through the eyes of a child - full of wonder and gratitude. Lovely photo and sentiment.
Excellent plus for the photo and the quote. So true. Wish more people would realize that. Our society is too fast passed. They miss out on so many wonderful things God has placed here for us to enjoy.
I am always encouraged by your blog. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful marriage of photo and quote. If only we slowed down enough to really see….
ReplyDeleteYes, looking at things as if for the very first time allows us to see them anew. I love the hairy filaments on that little seed pod.

ReplyDeleteLove all those fine hairs on this.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue what this is but I like the great details you captured.
ReplyDeleteHow can recognize the extraordinary if we don't appreciate the ordinary?
ReplyDeleteA lovely prickly star! You have such a talent for capturing the ordinary in extraordinary ways.
