"Here on the river's edge I could be busy for months
without changing my place,
simply leaning a little more to the right or left."

  1. This is a beautiful picture and a very beautiful view. I like listening to the sound of water splashing on the rocks and when it drags the sand back. It is soothing.

  2. Thank you for my water fix - we have snow this AM - about 5" and still snowing. I can almost hear the waves slapping the rocks.

  3. Can it really be #32? It seems like you just started the series, doesn't it? I could sit there for a spell and do nothing, too. Very tranquil.

  4. Ah! This water shot reminds me of the summer! I like the quotation. It's true that such scenes change constantly according to a change in lighting or from the angle they are observed! Happy week to you, Cathy!

  5. What a wonderful quote about slowing down and really studying a single place. Love the way you have captured the energy of the water.

  6. Yes there is something to the shore or the ocean that just draws one in. Very nice capture of the waves and shoreline.

  8. Oh, yes! River's edge, lake, ocean, even a puddle. I can get lost in water in all its forms. This is a lovely shot, beautiful light on the water and rock in the foreground.
