Scavenger Hunt Sunday ~ June 2, 2013

I was stumped! I searched through my images this week trying to find pictures to post for Scavenger Hunt Sunday and was completely stumped!  Nothing seemed good enough; nothing unusual.  Really, all pretty boring!! Can you tell I'm in a really bad photography slump?  I am! I just can't seem to get motivated and when I do go outside with my camera it's so hot and humid, I'm back inside very quickly.  Needless to say, I didn't have many pictures from this week to chose from, so off to the garden center I went with my camera. I had to find something!

Oh, I forgot to mention that our prompts this week were:
photographer's choice
photographer's choice
photographer's choice
photographer's choice
photographer's choice

Yes, repeat that five times and pick out the best images!!
I even framed them for you.

I wish I had all of these in my garden!!

maybe your soul has never been in bloom."

  6. I know all about photography slumps, having been in a few myself. Taking yourself away, to someplace extra-inspirational, was a wonderful idea. Love your framed shots. My favorite is the last one - all those lovely shapes and textures.

  8. Cathy, no one following your blog, seeing your beautiful photos and reading your always meaningful words, would ever imagine you were in any sort of slump. Going to the garden center for these was genius - and inspirational! I'm going to remember it next time I can't think of what to shoot, or just want a change of scene. And the photos are lovely.

  9. Well you did great for no motivation :) Hot and humid, cold and snowy they are all motivation killers. I know you will push through and keep at it. Remember make the most of each day and practice, practice, practice.
